How long have you been in business?
More than 50 years—since 1955.
My accounts receivable department is a mess. Can you help?
Yes. We will come to your office, analyze your current process and make recommendations on
how to improve your collection system—before you take the next step and outsource your accounts.
How long should I send statements before turning them over to collections?
In most cases you shouldn't hold accounts more than 60-90 days from the date of service.
The longer an account goes past due, the less likely it is to be collected.
Do you only work with large, high volume clients?
No. We have a very broad range of clients, some high volume, some low. Regardless of
the size of your account, you will benefit from our large database.
Do you work small balance accounts?
Yes, we work small balance accounts.
Are there any up-front costs?
No. When we collect an account, you pay LCA a percentage of that account. If we are unable to collect anything, you don't pay anything.
Will I ever see a representative in person or will I only talk to your staff by phone?
You will have a full-time sales representative assigned to you and you will receive personalized service on a regular basis.
Does your staff receive specialized training in how they work with my consumers?
Our collection personnel go through our own training program before they are allowed to work with your consumers.
They also go through periodic training updates whenever new collection industry laws and legislation are passed.
This ensures that the staff stays within collection industry regulations and makes sure that your customers
are all treated fairly and with respect.
Do I have to fill out lengthy information sheets to list accounts with your agency?
No. Accounts can be listed with us in a number of ways:
• Photocopies
• Electronic Transfer
• Fax
Do you list your accounts on the Consumer Credit File?
Yes, unless our client specifically requests that we don't.
